Brittles Pavilion
The Pavilion is a modern building. It was opened in 1999. Sport England and the Parish Council generously provided the funding and WSLA members helped by doing part of the fitting out and the internal decoration.
A £200,000 extension to the building which provides addiional social space has recently been completed. Funding came from WSLA, Sport England, WREN, WPC & CEC.
Fully equipped changing rooms, a referee's room and a light and airy 8m x 8m function room with it's own kitchen (Brian Charlesworth room) are features of the original building. There is also an efficient heating system and full disability access and facilities.
The new extension provides a second function room 8m x 10m (Bob Comley room) which also has its own kitchen.
A further feature is the ability to combine the existing room and the new room into a single function space 8m x 18m. The capacity of this space is 100 seated at tables or 120 in rows. The combined space can also be used for indoor games.
The two function rooms can be hired separately or the combined space can be hired. Hiring is normally for a morning, afternoon or evening session of up to 3 hours but single hour bookings can be made. Alternatively extended bookings, for say a party, can be arranged.
See Brittles Pavilion Bookings for details on hiring the facilities.
